I did not answer this call but my phone displayed this number and under that it said Edmonton, AB and then a box popped up and said calling from MY phone. !!??!

I did not answer but it displayed the number, 1 587 881-4306 & below the number it named Edmonton, AB, and then I got a pop up box saying it was calling from MY phone.

I did not answer. IF it was Calgary Herald why use an OHIO USA assigned area code? Dated December 30 2015 @15.45 hrs Caller has attempted twice before. Calls have been ignored although I ran a trace on area code 587 fraud callers.

Caller: Unknown did not answer the call / Called back message this number not in service

587 is an Alberta area code, in addition to 403, 780 and 825.

It's not an Ohio area code ... you're probably thinking 567.

Yes these SCAMMERS called me on Dec. 29, 2015. I did not answer, because when my phone displays the SCAMMER'S name the same as their phone number it is easy to know the call is a SCAM, & if it was really important, they would leave a message. IT IS TIME THE CALGARY HERALD TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE SCAMMERS NOW.

Like others, have been getting several phone calls from this number. If it truly is the Calgary Herald, (I never answer I number I don't recognize) they have a DO NOT CALL list. Just put my name on it, so we will see what happens.
