This call was a solicitation to lower my credit card interest rate. Upon pressing "1" to speak with a real person I listened to a scammer asking me questions such as "do you have a high interest rate on your Visa" . I replied "no" to all questions and they finally got to the important question: "do you have a Visa card". When I replied "no" they hung up on me. Hmmmmm...... these scammers are so RUDE!

The recorded portion of the message indicated that the calling entity could give me a lower interest rate on my credit card. When I pressed "1" to speak with a live person, she asked whether I was interested in a lower rate on my credit card. In response, I asked which of my credit cards they were calling about, and the caller hung up. This entity has called me repeatedly despite my telling them not to do so and despite my prior complaints to the FCC.

The call recording indicated it was from "card services" and that nothing was wrong with my account, but they wanted to offer to lower my interest rate to 6.9%. The recording said to "press 1" to get more information about the offer. I pressed 1 and was connected to a live representative. She said "are you responding to lower your interest rates" and I said "no, I am no I am responding to ask you to take me off your call list..." and before I could even give her that instruction, she hung up on me.
