Got a post card Notice of Parcel on Hold" I was to call a local number to release the parcel. I looked the number up and found it is a scam. Glad I looked!

Totally a scam. USPS or UPS would not put a postage stamp on the card. Also no return address.

This is a scam made to look like a notice from the post office claiming that a package is on final notice and will be sent back. Of course, I called as I recently ordered many things. When answered, the person tries to set up a "free consultation" to test your water and then sell a home water filtering system. If completed, your "parcel" would be some low level gift card to certain businesses.

Found "Notice of parcel" Final Notice in my mailbox. Thank goodness I looked up the number before calling. Scam in mail form. There is no return address which is why I was sceptical about if it was true. There was already another scam notice tapped to my door when I first moved in and I did fall for that one thinking it was USPS.

"Notice of parcel on hold" and asks you to call this number to release parcel. This is an official scam, recognized by the USPS, and they will try to get you to give your personal information (including credit card). Do not call and do not give any personal information.
