Final chance to lower credit card rates.

They contracted me about credit cards I do not have. I told them I was on the national and state Do Not Call List and they said "Who cares what list you're on. Just give me your information and I'll move on to the next idiot I have to call."

The recorded message was an "emergency" time-limited offer to lower my credit card rates. I pressed "1" to speak with a representative. A male voice answered and said "Card Services." When I said this number was on the Do Not Call list, he hung up before I could say not to call again.

It said that they were "Account Services" for my credit card and that there were no alerts on my account, however, I had to act now or the 6.9% interest rate available to me would be terminated. They used very authoritative language. It had me remain on the line to confirm the offer. When the live representative introduced himself I asked for his supervisor and he hung up.

The automessage said they were a credit card company that wanted to lower my interest rate. I don't have ANY credit cards. After the automessage was complete, I was transferred to an actual person. I started to tell her I don't have credit cards, and she immediately hung up. I tried to call back, and the message just said, "Please press any digit to be added to the do not call list."

They claim that they will lower the rate of your credit card, though they do not name the credit card. In my case, they called my daughter's telephone number. She does not have a credit card. However, I retrieved call, and clicked number to speak to an "operator," Immediately they wanted my personal credit card information.

Lower rate on credit cards (Note: It was a recorded message followed by direction to push 1 to speak to a live operator. I hung up after the recorded message.)
