Caller identified herself as Shabana and claimed she was calling on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. She knew my name and asked me to confirm she had reached the right person. However caller ID identified caller as "Altegra Health". I declined to talk. Shabana then left me this number to call to "verify" her authorization to speak on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross: 866-705-8732, extension 4314. I sent message to Anthem Blue Cross seeking verification and no response was received. Suspected phishing or marketing call. On line complaints have been made about Altegra Health.
I didn't get his name but he said he represented Aetna which is who I have for insurance. He wanted to know how much I pay for my part B social security and that's when I hung up. Stop them!!!
Caller: He said he represented Aetna.
He had a foreign accent which made me think this was a scam. He said he represented Aetna Insurance which is what I have. I hung up after a few minutes of conversation and looked it up online and found it was a scam. Shut them down!!!
