Interesting, they changed their tactics with my call. They were claiming that they were raising money for breast cancer and the "gals that cannot pay for their own drugs"
The person who called me said they belong to a non profit Policeman association that provided services to Officers families that lost their family member.
They most definitely can't be serving Veterans , and Law Enforcement ,the caller said he would call back after I informed him he needed a better signal and was breaking up.I suggest you add this number to your block list. National non profits don't call from cell phones soliciting random prospective contributors assistance.
Asked if "Gerald" was there. I said they had the wrong number. Replied, "Maybe you can help me!" and started going off. I hung up.
A word to the wise..I heard from a good source that when "SCAM" callers say they are having headset issues they are actually tricking you. They are just pretending so they can ask you if you can hear them and when you say "YES" they record that and USE it on other scam calls. They are recording your voice and reusing it against you. They are tricky!! Be careful please. :')
She says she's having trouble with her headset..."can you hear me now"....DON'T answer yes. Calling to say because I stayed at one of her resorts (NEVER Have stayed at any resort!)....hung up. This call usually comes from a different #.
