This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They fail to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, further violating the TCPA. They then play a recorded message without an operator on the line, further violating the TCPA. They fail to provide a phone number or physical address when asked, yet further violating the TCPA. Their recorded message informs the victim that they were specially selected to receive information about the scammer's marketing program which is guaranteed to make the victim tens of thousands of dollars every month with no up-front costs and very little time invested. This is clearly a pyramid scheme.
This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further violate it by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to pause or stop the recording and answer questions. Sincwe you can never get to an operator, they further violate the TCPA by failing to provide a phone number and physical address when asked. Their recording only talks about how you have been chosen for a "top tier" opportunity to make a five- to six-figure income every month just using their automated marketing system. There is no mention of any product or services being sold. This is clearly a pyramid scheme. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
