Caller ID says Comm Svcs. Called a few minutes ago. Said they were Birch Communications which was taking over AT&T phone accounts. Nothing would change except that my rate would go down to $39.95. I was disconnected mid-call. Never called back. I checked my current phone rate which was $33.47. Hhmm. Such an uncomfortable world we live in! Can't even answer the phone anymore!

Caller ID say's Comm Svcs - Caller said my full name and stated the she was with AT&T Communication Services then she paused and with out thinking I said "yes", she immediately hung up. Sure hope this wasn't one of the "yes scams" where they record you saying "yes" and then use it to sign you up for stuff. Seems the only way to avoid scammers now days is to go off grid!!
