they were advertising an offer to lower your credit card interest rates. It was a prerecorded message that said "hit 1 if you'd like to lower your rate" and something to the effect of "hit 2 if you would like to stop receiving this offer"

Implied they were calling from one of my credit card companies and that I could lower my interest rate. The message said to press 1 if interested, I did in order to speak with someone to ask that my number be removed from future calls. However, I was never connected with anyone after about a minute or two I ended the call.
