Got a call from mark Williams. Told them to fax legal paper work to my attorney. Was put on hold. Then another person got on the line told him. Samethinh and he said have a great day and hung up.

received call from Mark Williams, earlier this year, i started asking details about the department he worked for and finally told him i would follow up with my local police department at which point he hung up. Am now receiving msgs on my phone again. What have other victims had the best luck with dealing with these people? Confronting them or just ignoring them?

I received a call today from this so call "Mark Williams". It is total and complete BS. They are claiming I owe them money and if I don't pay they will have me arrested at my place of employment (btw threats such as these are illegal and against the Fair Dept Collections Practices Act). They threatened to "Block" my SS# (whatever that means) they also have the last 4 digits of my social. It also seems that they have posted phony comments on this site to back up there threats. ITS FAKE!!! What a coincidence that all the postings that support the threats have the same words misspelled (i.e. sand instead of send). They are clearly not American, my guess is that they are not even in the US. Hey Mr. Williams, if you are reading this, you are scum!!! Stop attempting to extort
the good hard working American people and go back in your hole where you came from.!

First of all it was mark williams staying that is was attorney for state federal credit union and I had owe a quick cash loan and he need to speak to my lawyer, I told him that I did not know what he is talking about and he started to quote my last digits of my ss number. Then he went and got griffen and he said that I will be in court and I will loose my job. I told him TO stop calling and that I did not owe any money, So he kept on calling and making threats on my work phone and home phone. These people need to be locked up

First you call us and try to act like a legitimate company collecting a debt and now you are on here trying to stress that you are a real collection agent and we all happen to take out the same loan and we all happen to owe the same amount of money. You silly people seem to think we Americans are bunch of suckers. Are you jealous of us because we are citizens of the Best Country in the world and we do not have to worry about our electricty going off every ten minutes. Get off it. Your scamming days are over.

How Dare you even try to represent yourself on this site you dont even use proper "English" to defend yourself! Don't ever call me again or I will retrace you and find out who you really are!

I have and as well as three members of my family have taken calls from this man. (Steve Martin) He proceeds to cuss and threaten me and members of my family that they will be put in jail if debt was not paid. He said he has multiple family members Social Security numbers and will not stop calling. He says the "F" word and screams and upon request when I called him back he proceeded to go on about a debt and I responded: "How much do I owe your company and where may I send payment if I see that this debt to be true and correct?” I then asked him three times where I may send payment and he responded only by debit card; it is $410". "I then said how can you tell me my debt without asking me my name (I blocked my call and used Skype to ensure my security) he then said well what is your brother’s name and I can pull the record. I asked again for his company address and I will check my records if I in fact have a debt but he then changed his voice with voice over, as he has done many of times, with my mother and brother. This is scary and causes lot of concern for me and my family. I am message after a Google search for the number he calls from. It is only recently he is calling from a USA number, usually it is a 0001 or un-recognizable number. Has this happened to you? Please beware!

Got a Voicemail saying call them back they knew my social my acct/ RT Number knew it all ... Only Downfall was I never actually was approved for a loan since having this account ...

Also he kept pushing for my Debit card number and When i refused to send it and told him I called the police he threatened to have me arrested lol and he then asked if I wanted to pay via Western Union ...

heeps calling me and friends of ours and threating to send cops to their house to pick up her hubby and to my house to pick up my hubby to collect a anline loan that my hubby didnt do, and they said that friends are reliable for my hubbys debt and they have their social security # all kinds of stuff it needs to stop. i didnt catch their name. but i will try the next time they call.

Mark Williams, who claims to be from the State Department Federal Credit Union keep calling trying to collect $5k from me.

I called the State Department Federal Credit Union and he is not an employee of theirs. For both of our protection, SDFCU had their legal department send me a letter stating that Mark Williams was not an employee of theirs.

I tried contacting the Attorney General of Virginia and they referred me to the Secret Serice. I contacted the Secret Service (Dallas branch) and they referred me to my local police department. I am currently in process of filing a complaint with my local police department and find a lawyer to help me.

Mark Williams who claims to be from the State Department Federal Credit Union has called many times using harrasing and illegal tactics to embezzle $5,000 from me, a friend and my friends mother-in-law. He has threatend to call my employeer and get me fired, he has threatened to take my house and prevent me from ever being able to buy another house and he has threatned legal action against me. He claims I am a guarantor for my friends pay-day loan. You can't be a guarantor if you never sign the contract. My friend merely listed me as a reference. He has threatened my friend and told her she would have to pay or spend 4 nights in jail.

I called the State Department Federal Credit Union....they do not have a Mark Williams on their payroll. Shocking I know. I was able to get the State Department Federal Credit Union to send me a legal notification that Mark Williams is not a representative of their firm that they are not trying to collect any money from me. I called the Attorney General of Virginia and because Mark Williams does not work for the State Department Federal Credit Union they could not file a complaint. They advised me to go to the Secret Sevice. I called the Secret Service and unless the amount is $100,000k or greater they are unable to process. He said to file a complaint with my local police department and hire a lawyer. I am currently in the process of doing exactly that.

I recieved a call earlier from the same company everyones is is complainig about. I am very irritated and called my local police department and my bankruptcy attorney. I am in the process of filing bankruptcy and not able to pay anyone unless he knows about if first after having a bit of fun with them. I gave them my lawyer's number and they said that my lawyer have to call them. I replied, to Griffen bell if he was an attorney that he knows he needs to call my lawyer since he is the one collecting the "debt" I told him that not only can he go f himself but if he contacted me again I would prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. The have not called back. To be safe, I closed my checking account and put a fraud block on my credit reports. Some people can be so sick.

I had this mark williams call me as well and he transferred me to another man mr griffen I think trying to get me to pay for a payday loan I did not receive I am going to report to Indiana State Attorney General

This piece of garbage keeps calling! And to resolve the dispute his third option is pay 400 dollars by the phone! What a jackass. For claiming to be a federal employee and scamming people by this ghastly way Federal Bureau of Investigation should take steps!!!

A man named Mark Williams with a very strong East Indian accent keeps calling and leaving me weird messages. He even had the last 4 digits of m social. I asked him what they were calling regarding and he kept saying that he couldnt tell me and that he had to transfer me. I was put on hold and then another person with an Indian accent got on the line, I didnt catch his name but he told me that he had to read an affidavit and that I couldnt talk while he was reading it because they were recording the conversation and that whatever i said would be used against me. i eventually hung up the phone and then they called about 5 more times. I just want to know, what should i do. how do i get this scammer to quit calling me. Its super annoying, every time my phone rings its them.

I'm constantly called by this number and now he calls and harrases my husband at work claiming we owe for an online payday loan which we never did. Says he is from State Federal Credit Union and I've already confirmed this is not true. Keeps threating with legal action and every time we try to get information from him he says he cant disclose any of that information not even the amount that we supposedly owe. This guy has a very strong indian accent and needs to be found and taught a lesson.

I have called every sdfcu there is and they never heard of these people Edmund Randolph steve harden or martin in Binghamton NY or Lindsay Thompson in Athens GA 607-595-1658- fax 646-619-4817 I have called the layer bar assco I have called state General office Ny police GA police they want give me an address where there place said he can't lied about his bar number it was to long not a real number it is a scam if it real tell me your address the phone number to the place I owe and show me a contract that you said you cant show there email he used is griffin bell< legaldep @mail.com not a real one it is a addeor reader I have checked every thing I can on these people they are not real thing is they will scar some poor old lady or man don't know any better in to do this they need to be stopped
