Called said they were from microsoft said I had a virus or hacker. Then directed me to a logmein so they could hack my computer. When questioned they put someone new on the line. I talked to 2 men and 1 woman in total. Suspect the 2 men may have been the same person. When reading the warnings that poped up at the website the woman just kept talking saying hit ok. When I informed her to shut up she ignored it. So I hung up called microsoft and informed them. The rep there said it is definately a scam. They tried calling back a few more times which I ignored. The other numbers were from different areas of the US.

2 calls now from this number claiming windows infection. When I told him he had my IP address wrong when I asked him to confirm, he hung up.

Again, some oversea india or chinese try to convince me that my window is infected. They ask me to open my computer so i let them on wait for a good few minutes and then came back to tell them my Sillicone Graphic system is opem.....Ha ha ha on me, they hang-up

Why don't the authorities cut this number off if so many people have reported this number as a scam? Why aren't the Credit Card Companies & Banks lobbying to have this number cutoff?

Claimed to be Microsoft Support, told him where to go and hung up on him.

Loud background noise over seas sand spic on the other side

Windows Scam. Told him to go screw himself and scam someone else.

Called in AM asking something about computers. Could not understand callers ethic accent. Lots of loud background noise. Hung up.

Told me they were from Windows asked me to type event something in RUN. I hung up on them.

The same company, but with different numbers keep calling me everyday!! I can't understand them when they talk.

There have been calls made from these pay phone number wanting money and running scams beware. There are some real nut cases out there .
