Got a call from 607-948-6594 on landline phone just before 12pm 1-8-2026. I answered by saying hello, got no response, I said hello 2nd time. Still NO response so I hung up. All the while I was on I could hear in the background what sounded like/similar to "call center" noise and someone talking in the background. IMO IF the caller can't/doesn't respond after the 2nd hello they DON'T deserve any more of my time and deserve to be hung up on.

I don't know IF it was a legit, spam, scam, collector, telemarketer or what. They couldn't/didn't/can't respond after second hello, hangup as it is likely some scam/money/not legit type call. This is based on judgement of what you hear and/or don't hear on the line/in background as to if you hangup or attempt a 3rd or more hello.
