The caller said she's following up an inquiry about the medical insurance for my company....I don't have a company and I work for Postmates which is a company that doesn't offer medical insurance for remote independent contractors.
It's a call from a list that is probably outdated.

Yes. First got a call from a local number that nomOrono blocked and immediately a call from this number spoofed as Main Medical Center

Arena Stage in Washington, DC. Is selling subscriptions. When blocked by nomorobo, they called back as Maine Med Ctr. I told Arena to take me off their phone list--as I tell them every year!

The spammers have figured how to get around NoMoRobo's block.

THAT NUMBER BELONGS TO NoMoRobo and you KNOW THEY WOULD NOT CALL YOU. That number (for NoMoRobo) is an INBOUND ONLY TEXT number.

This number is being spoofed and I just now reported it to NoMoRobo.

When you get a call that gets blocked and **seconds later** you get ANOTHER call from a different number - it's a spammer.

They dial using a different number, when NoMoRobo blocks it, they immediately call back using NoMoRobo's texting number: (608) 371-6666.

GCG is the caller name THIS time. This is NOT the first time.”

They stated they were from Lenox and asked if I would like to place an order today with FREE shipping. I do order from Lenox and how they knew that is puzzling. Lenox does not offer free shipping. Told them not at this time and hung-up on them...my guess is they wanted my Credit Card info. My caller I.D. said Janesville Wi....Lenox is out of Cincinnati Oh...Good Try..You are now BLOCKED!!

This IS Nomorobo allowing a call to go through as the caller's ID was originally hidden/suspicious and the live caller entered random numbers as instructed by Nomorobo to prove this was not a "robodialer". The call is then forwarded by Nomorobo after the numbers are entered successfully and your phone rings shortly after hearing one ring. These forwarded calls can be from family members with blocked caller ID's, doctor's offices, and of course the ever-present telemarketers and spammers.

Because so many good folks telephones are being invaded with unwanted scam callers, several good folks have setup a free call blocking service. This unwanted scam caller is now being blocked by a free Call Blocking Service. Google “free call blocking service” to see what is available, you will be glad you did. We laugh each time such calls ring our phone and are blocked.
