The recording said it was "Card Holder Services" and it was important to talk with a representative to lower my interest rate. I have tried numerous times to remove my address - whether it was from their automated system or by talking with a service representative telling them that I have tried numerous time to remove my address. NOTHING WORKS! I have asked for managers and the representative hangs up on me. Nothing can be done.

"Cardmember Services" is a scam organization. They call and try to get your credit card number, under the guise of eliminating debt.

The best way I've found to deal with them is to answer all their questions in the affirmative, and tell them that you'd love their help. When they ask for your credit card number, tell them you need to go get it, and then put them on hold until they hang up. Bonus points if you get back on the line periodically, and drag the call out even longer. If each of us can waste just 5 minutes of their time, we could throw a huge wrench into their scam.
