Each message indicated it was a "final notice" regarding lowering interest rate on some type of credit account. At the end, it said press "1" to speak to a representative, which I attempted twice because I wanted to instruct the rep to remove my number from their list. However, in each case, no representative ever came on the line - only silence.

Claims call is last offer to lower credit card interest rates and says press #1 to speak to someonen. After pressing 1, phone rings for a while then somebody answers. If you ask to be removed from list, she immediately hangs up.
