they said they could lower my charge card interest rates.

The caller ("Ann") said she was from "Credit Card Services", but refused to give any further information including the name of an issuer, bank or other organization that she was representing. She only wanted to know if I was interested in lowering the interest rate on credit cards and ask me lots of info about my account(s), including balances and the name of the issuer. When I refused to give her the name of my current credit card provider and asked specifically who she is representing, she refused to provide any identifying information. I then asked why she was calling us and asked if she was representing our current credit card provider, she said no. I then asked again why she was calling our #, pointed out that the number being called is on the national do-not-call registry and should not be called, and asked her to remove our number from their list. She then responded, "I don't have to do a DAMN THING!" and hung up on me.

It was my final notice to lower my credit interest to 4.9%
