Lower interest rates on credit cards. Called themselves 'card services'. Have called many, many times in the last 6 months but I did not write them down. I have asked several times, both nicely and not so nicely, to be removed from their call list, only to be hung up on every time.

The call just says it is from "Cardmember Services" but does not say what credit card company it may be from, and they are telling me they have a special offer to lower my interest rate. It is pre-recorded, with the option of pressing "1" to speak to a representative. Once speaking to a representative, they are quick to hang up on you as soon as you start asking questions about them or their company, but when I have tried to play along it would seem they are trying to sell me a monetary loan.

No sound when answering the phone but a "special offer" was offered when calling the number back.
