Credit card: changes in interest rates, that it was important to call immediately, tried to sound like my own credit card company. When I chose the option to speak to a representative, the phone line went dead. I recieve one of these every week or so.

LOWER INTEREST RATES EVERY TIME THEY CALL I PRESS 1 TO TALK TO THEM AND TELL THEM I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST AND THEY HANG UP ON ME I TELL THEM DON'T CALL AGAIN AND THEY KEEP CALLING.

Sign up for a credit card with low interest rate. The message deceptively reports that they are calling about a card you already have without identifying it, and then invite you to speak to a customer service representative who then tries to sell you on a new card.
