Message does not identify caller - it states there is no problem with your credit card, but if you want to lower your credit card interest rate, press 1. Since I do not carry a balance on any high-rate credit cards, there is no valid reason for this call. When I pressed 1 to try to determine the source of the call, I was disconnected.

Ambiguous phishing scheme to obtain credit card information. Caller ID spoofed, calls come from all over the U.S. 1-2 times per week.

that I can qualify for a lower interest rate. When asked to press 1, i was then disconnected. I received the exact message in Aug. Not sure of the date. When I press 1 the first time i spoke with a woman. She asked if I had credit debt more than $4000. I stated no and she said this offer wouldn't work for me. I stated that I wanted my number removed from there list and I was on the do not call list. I didn't want them to call me again.

They were offering a 6.9% interest rates on my existing credit cards. I don't have any credit cards. Also, I waited on the line for a live operator and when I was finally connected I politely informed her that my number is on the National Do Not Call List and that I would be reporting them to the FCC as I do all illegal calls. She slammed the phone down in my ear without letting me finish my sentence.
