Got a message from "office adam Webster of the IRS" today. Same lame script.

the IRS would Never leave a message saying "good luck" if you don't call back..........

For those of you who claim the IRS will not ever call you, I can attest otherwise. I filed my return late (payment already made)...... and I got a visitor who left a hang tag and THEN I DID get a phone call. The officer was 'very disappointed' when I filed the return and clearly, I had already paid my entire obligation and then some...........

Anyway, not sure what this scam is, but it definitely IS a scam.

Got a call at 9:13am from "Officer Adam Webster" stating that it was an urgent matter with the IRS and myself or my attorney needed to contact him. If we didn't all he could say was "the best of luck to you"!! Yea...nice try!! Definitely a scam. Don't buy into it!! The IRS will NEVER contact you by phone. Don't believe me? Check their website!

He called and I asked him to truely state who he was he claimed to be Saddam Hussein's brother and threatened to bomb 5 different states within 40 5 days if we did not cooperate with him and also said he was tracking my phone and he said he was going to bomb the place is located he has been reported to the place and he has an international warrant out for his arrest and he is a fraud there is no officer Webster that works for the IRS and the IRS will not call you at all they will send a letter this guy is a fraught big time do not obey his rule he is an old Paris using identification that is not legal and is not proper to ask does not have an officer Adam Webster at the IRS Oregon Rob Rogers and that's Yi also claimed to be a US number was looked up on the internet and this guy is a total fraud and is known to be extremely

i just got a call from this number also - telling me i need to call officer adam webster- saying that the irs has been to my house and that they were coming to arrest me if i didnt pay 2858.00 for a error on taxes - when i asked him a question he told me to shut up

Automated call from an Officer Adam Webster in regards to an urgent matter with the IRS. He asked that I or my attorney contact him, otherwise "good luck to whatever happens to you". Obvious scam -- the IRS does not contact individuals via phone regarding important tax matters and never with an automated call leaving threatening messages.
