The story I got was that they had gotten complaint from people in my area not recieving their magazines. I asked WHICH magazines (I receive several on various topics)? They said, oh, your womans' magazines, I said "which ones"? They said something like, "well, they are shipped out in "bundles" (whatever that means)" so I guess that several woman's mags have the same owner or shipper (?). THEN they asked my occupation and my age. I ended it there. The lady on the other end said "let me connect you to my superviser". I said no, and hung up. Then about a week later they called again, I think from a different numbers, got a man this time, still very fishy questions (I gave away nothing useful) and mentioned some program I stupidly signed on to try but then cancelled. Apparently I'm supposedly getting about $90+ worth of magzines, I told them NO WAY, CANCEL! They said they would. But I still keep getting calls from the above number with no one at the other end. I'm watching my credit cards.....
i keep getting calls from this number ever since i signed up for cosmopolitan. They always say they need my address because they are having issues sending me magazines and then they hang up. Very weird... & when I call the # back it says its not a working number. It's def a scam so I wouldn't give any information to these people.
Same issue here. They keep calling several times a week and even multiple times a day. I don't know how they got my address and phone number. I do get their magazines (which by the way I NEVER subscribed to), but I'm not going to give them any further specifics about my person such as my bank account number, and the like. The bad thing is that you cannot call them back. You cannot unsubscribe from their bull. And I cannot report them to the police because I don't even know who the heck they are.

Got 2 calls from this number also. If you have digital phone like Comcast, which we do, they have a preference you can set to block specific phone numbers. Regular phone companies may also have this feature. We can't stop them, but we can block them from bugging us. Good luck.
Call several times a day to speak with Lillian. When I tell them this is not Liallian's number they hang up.
They called me asking whether I would like to "Reduce my $45 monthly payment for magazines or keep paying the full rate." I explained I haven't been paying for magazines. They said they were "Publisher's Weekly," and said "You wouldn't be in our records if you hadn't been paying." I asked them to verify when I paid, which they could not confirm. They hung up on me. Another girl called me from (800) 555-1212 and said, "We've been getting complaints from our Publisher's Weekly customers and wanted to see if I can help you." I explained I hadn't been paying for magazines and she hung up. Very creepy.
