The message said that this call was from "credit card services" and was in regard to my credit card account, but no identifying information was provided. The purpose of the call was to entice me into lowering my credit card rate. I don't even know which card they're referring to--it was just a ploy to get me to agree to something. I don't even know what company it's from. This is one of several calls I've received lately, all from different phone numbers but with basically the same message.
