I recieved three immediate calls in a row and it only showed as a Minnesota number so I ignored it figuring that if they needed something that they would leave a voicemail. No luck. I tried calling back once I looked it up and saw that it's real and it says the number is a disconnected Best Buy number. They did call back five minutes later. They only asked if I was the person who placed the order, to confirm the amount, and confirm the state in which it was placed. It felt super sketchy at first, but my order was processed!

Called and said they were from best buy fraud dept. They wanted to verify Citibank credit card info. I called best buy and they do not have any offices in minnesota.

Called over and over until I Googled and saw some reference to Best Buy and answered. A gentleman with a heavy accent asked if he was speaking to my grandson, (using his name) I had just made a holiday purchase for my grandson at Best Buy. I told him I was the buyer and my grandson was the recipient. He said he needed to confirm that the order was not fraudulent. He asked for my email address and when I provided it he said everything was fine and the order would go through. They need to be clearer about what the call is about. So many scams out there that I was very suspicious.

I also received a call from this number wanting to confirm a purchase. It sounded suspicious so I checked this number with Best Buy's CitiBank ID Theft and Fraud Dept. They verified that this number is one of theirs. They check on orders that appear fraudulent. They must be using a call center from India or something because the callers seem to be causing undue stress with their way of talking to people. I think BB should better train these people so they aren't scaring the life out of us.

Called me four times in a row. Came up as Best Buy. I didn’t answer. The call came in just as a fraudulent purchase was made on my Best Buy card. I wish I would have answered!
