I just got a call from this number. They did have the last 4 of my social. They said I owed money on a payday loan in 2010. Which I did not take out. SCAM!

THIS IS A SCAM! I do not know how these people get our PHONE numbers...My Husband and I are on 2 different phone plans and they do not even belong to us....OUR NAMES are not even on the plans.

The Caller did not say who they were or where they were calling from except to say that they with the FRAUD department and gave us a FAKE document number to reference when calling back. I called them back to see if they would say what company when answering the phone and to get a name...I got a Last name Ms. Billings and no one in at the time. They have called both my husband and my phone for the past several days more than once a day. I want them to stop calling I told the Ms. Billings! Please those of you who get calls like this DON'T let them worry you even if you have bills...I know I have MANY of them but nothing serious like Fraud....I don't deal with scare tactics and I will check on fake call in a hot minute! ALWAYS check the number who is call you if they dont leave information the you know is to be true NEVER give out information YOU ARE NOT required to give out your social security number!

They called my dad's phone number looking for my mom so my mom talked to them. They told her the last 4 of her social and then told her that she owed $2400 for an old credit card but wouldn't tell her the credit card company name only that it was a MasterCard. Then They said you worked for so and so company (that she never worked for) and saying that she used Larry Harper and Haley Harper as references (people we also don't know). My mom asked for something in the mail showing what exactly was owed and to who and they said no, that they would only take it to court.

A guy named brain called me but first it wasa threatening voice mail abt some ffraudulent something with some online check cashing place they had the last 4 of my social and called me by my old marriage name from 10 yrs bk. I asked for confirmation by email of what I supposley owed and he sd they wouldn't send me anything til I gave them my cc number then hed send me a confirmation. He then called me bk 2 days later from 205 623 6871

Just received this one. I've been calls like this for a while now from various numbers. before it was a Utah number and that was around Thanksgiving. It stopped for about a week. It's usually everyday. I just ignore and delete the voice mail. And legit complaint would be certified mail or in person. Not through family members, work, or personal cell.
