They say they're a Canadian research firm. However, I am sure it is just a robot call confirming your number is a legitimate number so they can sell it to other marketing firms.

If this is a political Survey in Ontario -- why are they calling Nevada? Scammers are definitely getting more stupid each year. As for being on DNC list -- crooks do not abide by legal things remember. They are out to steal. If this is political for Canada, it has nothing to do with Nevada. From what I see here, this group has been calling for a very long time. Maybe they are legitimate, but that is doubtful since they do not have any information they leave, just call and hang up. Please remind the elderly and impaired: Do NOT talk with any of these people who call. If you do it invites more calls for one thing -- and they can sell your phone to others because it is a real number. Is that what you want? And that is only the annoying part. If they are peole wanting to scam others out of money, answering the call only sets you up for that. Remember: crooks do not care about government laws.

Received a call from this number on Monday January 28, 2013 8:41 PM to a personal cell phone. Heavy Breathing .... I repeatedly said "Hello" no response just more Heavy Breathing. Hung Up.

Got called twice, once at 9:05AM, and once at 9:20AM. We're trying to get some sleep here... Don't need surveyors and Telemarketers calling us at 9 in the morning.

I really don't want bothered by any survey. To me it is the same as a telemarketer.
