Woman with a foreign, perhaps Indian, accent called and asked for my wife. Said it was regarding a Mastercard, and she read off the lastr four digits. When challenged and told we did not want to receive these calls she hung up. We have been getting two -three calls a week now for the last month, all sounding very similar.

Twice in last 30 days received a call from this number regarding my credit card. They have my name, address and last 4 digits of the card. Fortunately, this is an account that my credit card company closed last year due to merchant security breach. This is how I recognized it as a scam call. The person with a very heavy foreign accent even has the name of the credit card company. I have reported this to the company, but they seem apathetic about it. Is is so hard to trace these scammers? Beware they can have a lot of information about you.

Some woman called telling me that I was going to received a 100.00 gift card mailed to my home address(which she knew) for using my mastercard over the last past 18 months. She spoke with a very heavy accent and I could not understand really what she was talking about. I asked to speak to someone who spoke more clearly. Then someone other lady got on the phone and the same thing a very heavy accent. They finally hung up.

Phone number we received was 613-333-3456 asking for same information.

this is company is so annoying!

Something to do with visa card or visa gift card. could not understand.

I get calls from this number several times a day and I usually don't answer them, but I did today because I am sick of them bugging me! So there is this person on the line who you can barely understand because they do not speak english well. They say they are from Visa credit card company and are wanting to verify my address so they can send me a $100 gift card for keeping my card in good standing. They say they are not selling anything, but after several attempts to question them about this, they finally say they want me to look at their new money saving plan and there is no obligation but they say something about it only costs one dollar and I am like, "no, you do NOT have permission to charge my card a dollar" . I have been scammed like that before. they say that they are not going to charge my card and I wonder how they were going to get their 'dollar'. But I am annoyed at this point because i know they were not being up-front with me so i tell them that I am NOT interested in their offer and take me off their list.

Seemed to be phishing for credit card info. Claimed it was "platinum rewards"
