I just tell them that I'm at the RCMP outpost and that the officer is looking for their name and badge number. They always hang up after that LOL - these guys are a joke - I feel bad for the people that fall for this :(

These calls sure increase one's level of stress. My call came from 613-707-0072, and said that a lawsuit was filed against me, and prompted me to call back the second I got the message. My tax affairs have been professionally handled for the last 6 years and are in good order.The caller sure could use some English lessons.

I just had exactly this call tonight. Legal action being filed against me by CRA because of supposed income tax fraud from 2008-2012. Was from phone number 1888 858-6036. Person I spoke to spoke poor English.

the call came from 630-752-9984 automated message saying they are CRA and this was the last attempt to reach me and that legal procedure will be taken. then it said to call 613-699-2196. I figured it was a scam call but did called that number, After at least 50 rings, a guy answered: ....CRA.... so I repeated oh really you are the CRA and the guy responded no this not true then he hung up.

It sounds like old automation - Received an automated call stating that a suit has been filed against me & that I have to call that number (613-699-2196) back & then hung-up. It would sound bizarre for anyone to not ask to speak to someone in particular when it would concern an issue of that importance!

left a recorded message saying they are from cra and legal action will be taken and cra filed a law suit against e me.
i called the number left on the message and a guy answered cra;he did not ask for sin or any info.just legal action will be taken for a fraud from 2008 till 2015.i could not understand most of his speech.

Apparently this is a call from Canada Revenue Agency. The message states it is a final notice and a lawsuit will be filed. This was a call targeting my elderly mother.

It is an automated message saying they are revenue Canada and that this is the last attempt to reach us and that legal procedure will be taken
