The usual CRA scam. A lawsuit has been filed, blah, blah. I told them I worked for CRA myself and asked to speak to their supervisor. Hung up. Same bunch of idiots I think who called up years ago claiming to update your Windows while you worked on a Mac. That baffled them somewhere in India. Having said that, you'd think the RCMP could stop this kind of thing if they actually tried - it's an 877 number after all. And the phone companies could not care less - they're getting their monthly fees from the scammer while trying to sell little old ladies some costly "package" themselves. Incompetence and greed in equal measure.
