The caller ID says American Electric Power (AEP), which is our electric provider, but they claim to want to help you save 30 percent on your bill because you are such a good customer. They asked me to get a pencil and paper and a copy of my electric bill to get info to make me the supposed offer. Why would the electric company need a copy of my bill when they have it on their records/computers? I could barely understand what the guy was saying. Anyway, I hung up and immediately blocked the specific number and wild card blocked the area code /exchange. I'm so sick of these liars and posts. Their activities should be made illegal. It never stops.
