Text messages stating an Investigator Price for Hertz rental car. Threat of warrant for arrest for failure to return a rental car in Las Vegas. Haven't left the state for over a year, and we do not live in Nevada. No records of any charges from Hertz or their affiliates. Multiple text messages to other people but not to me directly. You'd think if I rented a car from them, they'd have my number and would contact me directly. Scam. Searched the number. LOOOONG history of IRS and Hertz rental scams dating all the way back to 2014. Investigator Hall (female). Investigator Price. Now showing up here as "investor" Woods. Also this morning, 7/12/21, received an attempt to deliver a letter via UPS stating sent from Hertz Corp. Refused to accept or sign. They left a notice. It was brown. Legal documents are sent certified and those are green. The VIN associated with the threat I received checks out to be a Hertz vehicle so this is someone either who works at Hertz or used to or has access to their systems. Called Hertz as well as Las Vegas PD and my local PD.
