I received a quote from "salesman" Boyd Lovitt in September 2014. At hat time, I agreed to have heat tape installed in my gutters and zig-zagged on my roof. Following heat tape placement and additional roof work I was told that I needed to hire an electrician to connect the tape to the transformer. The workmen indicated that installation was just placement of the heat tape. I assumed that installation meant connection of the tape to the thermostat. I then tried to hire 4 qualified electricians , including Mark Wraske, recommended by Infinity. The electricians did not follow through to connect the tape. They indicated that the necessary information was not included in the thermostat packaging. The original thermostat ($664.) included in my proposal, and the replacement provided by Infinity did not have adequate directions /schematics and the electricians many attempts to get input from Infinity Home Improvement and Johnson Controls failed. Ten months of repeated phone calls, photos and email to Infinity Home Improvement Co. have failed to resolve or even address this issue. Ice back up, leaks and heavy snowfall have resulted in damage to my ceiling. One electrician even recommended that I pay for new heat tape instillation. Exasperation, a loss of confidence, and a significant monetary loss have taken their toll. KCapion
