Soooo.... I played along. Whatever he asked me, I told him. [Except I made everything up!]

He already knew my First and Last Names, my Full Street Address including the City & State and asked me to confirm my Zip Code.
Then he asked me what kind of interest rate I had presently, I told him 19.8%.
Then I was asked the balance of the Credit Card, which I said was $31,400.
He then asked me the expiration date on my card which I said was 04/16.
Then I told him that it was a MasterCard.
I was asked to "confirm" the 16 digit Card Number. I made one up.

Within 15-20 seconds he stated that my Card Number didn't "Verify" could I read the number again please?
I put him on hold for 30+seconds and picked up. He was still there, still wanting me to repeat the
