Offered to lower my interest rates. I pressed 1 to talk to a person. They asked for my credit card number, SSN, credit card expiration date, and the phone number off of the credit card.

I have received at least 3 calls a day evey day for the last 2 months from someone called "Account Services" regarding a "Final Call" to lower interest rates on credit cards. When I punch through and talk to a person if I ask who they are and for their phone number or to take me off their call list they hang up.

Credit interest lowering. The message started with no personal or company name, just saying something like, "We've closed the account at this number. If you want to reactivate the account and lower the interest on your credit balance in excess of $3000, press 1 now." While I was dithering on whether to press 1 to ask them to put me on their no call list, the call was terminated. The prior two calls received from this number were received when I could not answer the phone. No message was left on my phone. I'm wondering if this change in text tactics is in response to the no-call request I placed with a real person on 4/17 at 303-249-9700 (previously documented in complaint #12-T00916277). Perhaps they decided fear tactics ("we've closed the account") would get a better response? FYI-trying to call the number back just yields a fast busy signal. Thank you.
