Wants to help me with my debt - but is not from a bank and refuses to identify who they are with. When I challenged them on whether they knew my name or not - they could not identify my name, and they admitted that they called me "randomly".

They are saying they are calling to lower my interest rates on credit cards. I dont have any credit cards with balances carrying interest. I have pressed 1 to talk to a reprentative a couple times to ask them to take me off their list. I only didtn this after receiving many calls to which I would just hang up.

The message claimed to be from "account services" and offered to lower the interest rate on an existing (unnamed) credit card account. It claimed to have access to government funds. When I pushed the #1, as directed, the call disconnected. I filed a complaint about this company earlier today, but this call originated from a different number. I have asked them to stop calling my phone and they just hang up on me.

The recorded message says, "This is Rachel from Account Services", and then talks about how there is no problem with your account and how it can lower your interest rate and press 1 to talk to someone.
