said i have an sumons to apperar in court and i returned the call and said i owe 650.00 for a bank account that closed and they wanted payment on the account. called the arizona attorney generals office and they had said it was a scam, so i called back to the center and tried to get more information but when i mentioned i cant find any information on them the operator said were a law firm and we dont have that info and hung up

Said the same to me got me all freaking out called over and over only got music playing everything time I was put on hold. I finally started looking the number up on the web and came across all these websites saying it's a scam. I feel 100% better after finding all these reports that it's a scam.

I recieved a call today saying it was the National Processing Center and that I was being sued and had a restraining order filed aginst me on behalf of "Good Time Payday Loans" I have never heard of this business and that i owe them $1077 from a Payday Loan I susposely took out with them back in 2008 and i closed my bank account and never paied them, But correct me if im wrong don't you need a JOB and a BANK ACCOUNT to get a Payday Loan and in 2008 I had Nither, this place had my name and current address how do I stop this it all sounds too strange, can anyone give me some advice as to how to approach this matter. Was put on hold for 30min are more befor they kept hanging up on me, the guys name was William Ward.

looked into it some more...looks like it's a collection agency...

however, if it's a 3rd party, they've violated laws... most likely, they're trying to scare debtors into contacting them in order to not 'loose' the statute.(the time limits in which it can be reported. If you call before it's up, it restarts)

I just got a call at my work saying I have a order to show cause regarding a restraining order, with a docket # D92W-1427 and I have 24 - 48 hours to contact them. This needs to report and stop cause now I'm getting pissed off too!!!!!!!!

I got the same phone call again this morning only from a different location , this time
from springtown, ma. but he said his name was Brian Walker ,Tried to get more info but he hung up! But he will probably call back! This man needs to be stopped !

At least you got a name from a live person, and not a message. adventually their going to slip and when they do they will be reported to the proper arthorities, and have the book throw at them. wishfull thinking.

Receiving harassing calls from the above number... we tried to call back ... put on hold for over 20 min,... finally just hung up..When reading the other comments...sounds like the same message. Whats going on??? how can we stop this???

NCP called leaving a message of "Order to show cause regarding a restraining order" , and said I'm involved in a class action law suit then I was given a case number. I called the number back and was on hold for 10 min.plus with elevator music playing. Could not reach a person and when I made another a temped I got a answering machine. This must be some sort of a scam and I'm tired of the harrassment. Somthings must be done and done quickly about this issue.

Yeah I got the same call. And the recording said the same thing as the others. I have never given out my home number cause its new. How did they get the new number? I've been getting call from them for over 6months. Got to be a scam of some kind. I've grown to ignore the phone call when they call.

anyone that recieves a ph message like this needs to contact the ftc.gov website and report it.... i too received a call like this like this today, called my grandmother home and havent never lived with them. had them really worried. my mother contacted them and wouldnt tell her anything and when i tried to call them i was left on hold.

received a message saying that I have a complaint and a restraining order filed against me. Thing is they did not leave the name of the person that is filing the restraining order or any name for that matter. I called twice - left on hold for about 20 minutes. First time was switched to an answering machine to leave a message second time I just hung up.

I received a call from the NPC this morning with a case number and pending suit. It was a recorded message and no human being was on the line. When I returned the call to inquire, I was put on hold with recorded music for over ten minutes.

called and left a message on my answering machine saying i had a case number VRS 3730 and had either 24 or 48 hrs to contact them, send the information to my lawyer and that i had a restraining order against me. I think this call is after i hung up on a company calling me to order magazines

Just got a message from this number, and the recording started after the name was said, but it was a "junior", from what I got out of it. There is no Junior ANYTHING in my household. This is stupid. REPORT THIS NUMBER!
