Robo-call from Baker for Governor campaign. Typical campaign call, no different in style or type of content from any other candidate from either party.
I'll avoid partisan comments here, because that is not the purpose of this web site. I got this call, because the town I live in voted for Brown. These are bring out the vote calls.
They call because a demographic analysis, often based on the city or town, says you are significantly more likely to vote for a certain candidate. They can't have enough information to tell how you'll vote with more than 75% certainty. It would be scary if they did.
These calls don't bother me unless they are daily and something of substance, regardless of whether I agree. If they just say, "I'm Joe Shmo and I'd like your vote" without stating a reason, then they irk me.
Ridiculous robo call from the Charlie Baker campaign claiming that he cares about education and social programs in the state. Couldn't stop laughing. I'm voting for the Governor, don't know why the Republicans are wasting their time on me... I wouldn't vote for them if someone was holding a gun to my head.
It really sounds ridiculous, got a robo-call today from a fake "mom" concerned about her son's education and asking me to vote for her candidate. They really think the trick is gonna make it?
