I'm on the do not call list--also have an unlisted number! I don't answer calls that I don't know. I've got caller ID and I've got family and friends listed so I know who's calling. If it's local calls I'll usually answer but anything out of State, No I will not answer it. Most all calls coming in from a 600 number is B.S calls--debt collectors, scams, surveyers etc. We're unto them. I really don't understand why it's ok for surveyors to call, but not for telemarkers--they're still just as aggrevating. I also can't help but wonder why people can't get off of their ass's and find a real job instead of sitting in a call center calling and aggrevating people! I've said it before I'll say it again--I cut my answering machine off so they can't leave a message and I've turned the ringer off as to not bother me. The phone lights up when a call is coming in. The call was from National Teleco. Junk, Scam call.
