617-849-9515 called and did not speak. I hung up right away. Keep in mind if they have some info on you, it is possible they just want to record your voice - especially the word "YES" - so that they may use it for hijacking your ID through voice systems.

Got a call July 7th. Identified themselves as Disabled Veterans. Asked for a donation and wanted to verify my info. I was not going to give my name but was happy to confirm what they had. after I politely told them again the same thing they hung up the phone.

Called and said they were from disabled veterans. They asked for a donation and I asked if he had all my information, he said they did. Then he transferred me so they could verify everything. She asked for the correct spelling of my last name...I said "the guy said you had all my information". She said, "Well, names change all the time". I told her my name has never changed in my entire life. I said "I'm just gonna hang up now". I didn't offer any information, but they did have my first name.

Called me too. Wouldn't identify themselves. Scam scam scam
