Received a call today . However the man on the call stated he was from Firefighters and Public Servants Association . Gave list of 1 time donation to the association in the denominations he gave $1000 to $35. After he gave his speel I advised him I WAS a firefighter (which I was) and I have never heard of this association and he immediately hung up . SCAM ALERT

Called me on my work phone and it immediately dropped. When I called back it went to an automated message about all agents being unavailable.

Just got a call, didn't answer, but googled searched the number and glad I did because everyone's comments on this page alerted me that this was a scam.

They called me and told me that they were from the Association of Firefighters and First Responders.
