Same scam as others: I received a recorded message from a woman, with no discernable accent, that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me. Was told to call 202-470-0872 immediately - a Washington, D.C. area number. The call came from 618-529-9140 (Carbondale, IL) at 4:46 pm, Friday, April 24.

Just got a call from this number saying it was the final call from the IRS regarding a lawsuit.

when the phone ring and displayed this number. the display said: PAYPHONE. I NEVER answer what i dont recognize or know.

Beware - scammers - Just received another call from this number. The caller stated that he was calling from Microsoft security and that he would fix a problem on my computer. I told him to stop calling me and I also told him he was a scammer. He started swearing at me.

This person claimed they were from an organization called Shadow. The guy on the phone said they received reports from my IP address claiming they have been sent numerous reports of me having problems with my computer. I said I did not have a problem. He asked me how do you know that you do not have a problem?
I then asked him if they had a website. He mumbled something then the phone went dead.
They have tried to call here numerous times.
