A woman said she was from Reader Services and claimed that my credit card would be charged tonight at midnight for magazine services that I signed up for. She asked me to verify my birthdate so that she could cancel the service. I asked for their company's phone number so that I could call and cancel myself. She gave 1-800-Readers and she said I wouldn't be able to get through because she works in a different department. I called from my landline while on the phone with her on my cell phone and the number was out of service. She hung up on me. Pretty sure it was a scam.
