This jackass name Steve called me talking about he is from the U.S. Department of Treasury, and I owe back taxes. When I refused to give him any information he claims that I will be arrested for the back taxes etc.
I have been living in the U.S. for 36 years and know that the IRS (aka U.S. Dept of Treasury) does not call people, always via US mail.

Called me and said "he was from the US Treasury Dept" left message about all the bad things that will happen to me if I did not contact him immediately. I am retired Law-enforcement and this is a very common SCAM Phone Call. Do Not give anyone private information over the phone. The Goverment will always send mail to your home. This scam call will only talk to you and "fish" for personal information. Hang up. Don't call back

Received a call from Steve saying he is with the US Treasury and wanted the name of the person who filed my taxes! Declined to give him such information, but I told Steve since you have my number mail the documents , and I will present them to my CPA and my friend who happens to be ADA of the County I reside in. He hung up the phone.

No idea what this is about. something to so with US Treasury, magistrate judge...it's a recording. When I called back, it was busy.
