I received a vm from this number. Same exact message as stated above along with the same exact case number. I will not be returning the call. Thanks for the comments and warnings

I was scammed by this number: 619-649-8749. If they call, hang up immediately. Don't return the call if they leave a threatening voicemail. I want to prevent this happening to anyone else. These people are evil.

Computer generated voicemail recorded the following: "Of internal revenue services. This is in reference to a criminal lawsuit filed against you. Your case number is CH 76295. The moment you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney of records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My phone number is 619-649-8749. Do not disregard this message and do return the call. Now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation totally unfolds on you. Goodbye."

Copied that from comment above as my message was exactly the same, including the case number.

I have looked up the number. It is a spam from someone claiming to be from the IRS. I would suggest blocking and not calling back
