I know this is Santander Consumer. I have asked repeatedly to only call once a day. Now they call from several different numbers, but they can say they only call once a day!!!!

I've been having problems with these people for almost as long as I've had a car loan with them. They are rude, ask questions that are none of their business, and while I tell them repeatedly that my payday doesn't fit their schedule due to medical expenses for my wife, they still keep calling and asking the same questions. I've asked to have the payment date changed to fit my payday, but they tell me that since I'm behind, they can't do that. I asked when I make my payment can it be changed, they told me that then my next payment was due, even though it was still 3 weeks away, and they couldn't do it until it was paid. Does'nt make sense, by their figuring even if you make the payment you're still behind. By the way, I looked them up on then Internet and they seem to be a subsidiary of Santander Banking or Financial, based in Spain. No wonder there customer service sucks!
The company is actually called Santander Consumer USA. The are an auto loan company. Their collection practices are questionable at best.
Keep getting calls from multiple different caller ID names but when I call back they all are Sontond Air Cunsumer USA and they keep asking for the same guy who I have never heard of and whos name sound NOTHING like mine. They promise to remove my name from the auto dialer and then I KEEP GETTING CALLS. Drive Financial, XO Interactive. They will eventually pick up if you wait for the #7 option which is all other issues. Most of the reps just hang up when you ask for a manager.

Santander Consumer USA is a crackpot organization. The intelligence of their staff is below average at best. I fell behind on my car loan over this past winter, 3 months, because of loss of income. I always pay my bills! I stayed in touch with them and gave them money every couple of weeks in an attempt to become current again. I eventually had to block their calls because they continued to harass me with 4 and 5 phone calls a day to my cell phone, at work..etc. And I was a customer keeping things on the up and up and not avoiding them in the least! They were rude on the phone to me...even badgering me by repeatedly asking me why I fell behind over and over..phone call after phone call, 4 to 5 times a day. Is that even necessary? Not sure what their point was other than to piss me off and create a situation where I won't ever pick up the phone for them again...ever. I am now current, yet still owe $150 in finance charges that I am attempting to pay. They keep calling me for that $150 and I keep blocking their calls. They are completely ineffective in their collection attempts, have zero customer service and people skills, and lack any common sense when it comes to dealing with anything other than hitting redial on the phone. Some of their other numbers are: 888.222.4227; 214.614.3380; 214.614.3300; 214.540.2035; 214.237.3516; 469.385.5260; 214.237.3670; 817.887.0121; 619.757.1242. And the beat goes on. I'm not in any hurry to pay those late fee charges...I might if they had been a bit more easy to work with and not so immature with their tactics.
