Trying to collect on an old dead account. Same company called a few days ago from 731-256-7106. Calls from this number now set to go directly to voice mail. I told them the person they wanted was not at my number and gave them my old disconnected number. Don't ever give them any correct information, much less agree to any kind of payment! They will try collect on accounts that were charged off 10 years ago, so there is no benefit to dealing with them.

this is portfolio recovery a fraudulent collection agency. they find paid, old or discharged debt and try to collect it. address po box 12914 norfolk VA 2354. don't acknowledged any debt. ask for verification of debt, written agreement with your signature. they won't send you this because they don't have it. then send a written letter with return receipt asking them to only contact you via mail. after you find out they received this letter keep record of EVERY time they call and you can file suit against them. pass this on to stop these jerks!
