Called my place of business today, and referenced a customer transaction that took place six months ago, with a partial cancellation two months ago. Caller "Todd" knew the details of the transaction, wanted a refund on the cancelled portion (but also knew that it was a "no refund" transaction.)

Claimed to be calling from American Express, but it seemed very fishy to me. Likely a scam.

Called claiming to be American Express fraud team. Definitely spam and not associated with Amex at all.
