Consumer Services pre recorded message saying this is your last day to lower the interest on your credit cards. THIS IS A SCAM!!!! Do NOT give these SCAMMERS your credit card number. They claim they get your telephone number from Experian and say you have good payment history and such which qualifies you for a lower interest rate then they ask for your card type and number They then ask for the expiration date on the card explaining that this only works if the card has a valid date then they ask for your card number, your date of birth, last 4 of your social security number and your zip code....everything a scammer could possible need to fraudulently use your card! They never asked me my name! They even want the customer service number on the back. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give these clowns your credit card number! They will put you on hold why they try to get you statements. They will then transfer you to a supervisor who will ask for the first 5 numbers of your social security number. They then transfer you to the real bank (they 3 way call) hoping you give the password and verify your information with the real bank while they secretly listen in. They can't even get the name of the cards right They call Master Card Master credit card and they call BBVA Compass BBVA complex
I always take these calls, give them a an expired card, a fake name and DOB and the real customer service number. I love wasting these idiots time while they try to call the bank on an expired card LMAO
Don't waste your time reporting them for a do not call violation as I'm quite sure the number is spoofed.
