The Caller said he was from a car loan company and i had been approved for a car loan - i said i didnt want it nor did i need it and he said "what the F---" and hung up.
This is a scam number and company

A supposed tech support agent working on behalf of "windows server systems" detailing a virus that has effected my computer(s). Caller then proceeds to tell me that they need me to access my computer so they can "fix" it.

This is not the only number I have received this type of call from, and it seems to be increasing.

This is a SCAM. Microsoft does not call people on behalf of virus issues, nor would they say they are working on behalf of "windows server systems" They are trying to gain remote access to your computer by fooling you into download malware which can acomplish this task. Most likely so they can gain access to personal information.

They can be very difficult to talk to, often redirecting your questions, or refusing to answer outright. I once asked to talk to their manager, in which their responce was to hang up on me.

They once told me they were calling from Ontario, but I doubt this. They most likely pick the region they feel is closest to you. They also call at random times, sometimes late at night and on weekends.

Called but no one speak.
