This scam is so "famous" that I'm surprised anyone would fall for it. Caller ID said "Amalia Lopez", which I didn't recognize, but my answering machine picked it up and the idiot left a voice mail telling me he would call back and needed access to my computer to fix "virus problems". I'm about ready to ditch phones of any kind.

Caller(s) say they are from Microsoft and asking about my networking computer. I have asked them twice now to stop calling as I am on the do-not-call list and one get feisty and hang up.

"Microsoft" support scam. Do not answer and block this number if you can.

i didnt pick up, dont know anyone from that area code, especially a wet back. what ever IT was trying to accomplish, BIG failure

Just got a call from this TN. Said they were from Microsoft and was I the user of my PC. Wanted me to let them into my computer to remove a virus. HA, HA. I have gotten a Call Blocker for my landline because of these types of calls taking time out of my day.

626 618-2090 My caller ID name read Amalia Lopez. I was trying to make a call when incoming call from SCAMMER interfered with my call causing it to drop. It sounded like a fax machine and then a female voice said Goodbye. These calls are more than an annoyance....it is harassment when they call back every day. The calls interfere with legit business calls, personal calls, etc. No one answer their phones any more unless they recognize the phone number or name of the person calling.

Said her name was Kelly Wilson. Worked out of AUstin,TX with headquarters in St. LOUIS. Said my computer could be shut down.

I've gotten the same call twice today. First time I answered and they hung up - did not answer the next time.

He's a new player telephone rang, silence no one spoke I hung up he is being reported by other sites as some foreign guy saying that a foreign IP was in my network service. Once again he's a new player just hours old.
