I pressed 1, and got hung up on when I let them know that I am on the do not call list, no company name was mentioned.

It was a call from a generic "Credit Card Services" saying it was urgent that I call them about my accounts. They were trying to lead me to believe they were MY credit card company, when in fact they were not.

They called to offer a lower interest rate for my credit card and asked for my card number and expiration date. I asked for the company name and they said "Credit Card Services" and when I asked for a number he said I can call the number on the caller ID which was 626-668-8217 and said he was Kim at x233.

Caller told me his company repesents all three banks with which I have credit cards (he named them, so they must be obtaining info from our credit records) and he offered an interest rate reduction on my credit cards, even though he admitted he was not with any of those banks.
